The position of any smartphones companies is based on the shipments and sells made by them in the specific time period. If we check out the data of the Q1 2020 then the Samsung is holding the supreme position in smartphones.

Among 275 Million, the company has shipped 58.6 millions smartphones globally and becomes the global top smartphones company. The company has grab the 21.2% global market share of smartphones by shipping 58.6 millions phones in this 2020 Q1.

Huawei

By replacing the Apple the company, Huawei holds the top second smartphones companies in the world. In this year Q1 of 2020 the company made a great progress in smartphones world by catching the position of Apple. 

The current market share of Huawei is 17.8%. In the Q4 of 2019 the market share of the company was just 15.2% and falls on the 3^rd largest companies in the world. 

The global shipments of the company in  Q1 of 2020 is 49.0 Millions which is comparatively high as compared to the recent data.

Apple

The flagship and monopoly smartphone company of the world Apple fails to hold their second position in 2020. The global shipment of the company falls from 19.9% to 13.3%. due to this reason the company loss their second position in global market share

The company has shifted just 40 million smartphones in this Q1 2020. In the Q4 of 2020 the company has shifted 72.3 millions smartphones globally. But now the company only shifted 40 millions phones.

It is clear that the iPhone shipments declined by 5% in this Quarter. As per the source, due to the down in shipment the revenue of the company is down by 7%. 

Xiaomi

The top most smartphones company of the India, Xiaomi falls in the 4 position by holding the market share of 10.7%> As compared to the recent data the company has made a certain progress in the global smartphone market.

The journey from 8.9% – 10.7% of Xiaomi is really challengeable. In this quarter the company has shifted 30 Millions units of smartphones globally.

VIVO

In No. 5 another Chinese brands comes, VIVO. Yes, In global smartphone market share and shipement the company is making a certain power and supply of their products 

As like Xiaomi the company is holding somehow same position. The current shipment of the company is 9.0% which is comparatively very less or near to Xiaomi.

The company has shifted around 26 millions smartphones globally in this quarter and holds the position of top 5 smartphones companies of the world.

Beside these top 5 companies there are also other companies in the world to make the complete data. Along these top 5 companies OPPO and it’s sub-brand RealMe holds the sixth position.

The market share of the company including RealeMe is Comparatively equal to Xiaomi and VIVO but quite less than them.

If we check the current data published by the agencies then the Samsung is holding the top most position in smartphones market with around 20% global market share. After Samsung, Huawei holds the top second global smartphone shipment by 17%. 

Similarly, an Apple the company that used to holds the second position in smartphones shipment fails to hold it’s position. Currently, the company has to left the position due to the decrease in the shipment of the smartphones in this Quarter.

Let’s move to top 4^th and top 5^th smartphones brand. In 4^th position Xiaomi is running. The global shipment of Xiaomi smartphones is around 10% by shipping around 30Millions smartphones in this Quarter.

VIVO is also comes on the list. The company holds the 5^th position globally. As like Xaiomi, the company holds around 9% market share of shipment. We can find somehow same result and position on Xiaomi, VIVO and OPPO in global smartphones shipment.

Beside these, other smartphones companies like LAVA (Motorola), MIcroMAX, NOKIA also comes in the list. The interesting thing is that the top mobile phones company of the world since a time, Nokia is almost out from the list.
